Round 1 of the North Shore Kart Club Championship has been run and won. It was an exciting day of racing with Qualifying starting off proceedings with 6 min sessions for each class. The first lot of heats started in dry conditions till TaG Restricted Masters Light & TaG Restricted Medium got out for their roll up laps and the heavens opened up bringing out the red flag. Conditions soon dried out for Heats 2 and 3 till the rain appeared again for Cadet 9s remaining wet till the finals got under way. Congratulations to all the racers for a good day racing and the podiums of each class.
We’d like to thank all the officials that helped through the day, everyone that helped set up and organise the race meeting and the helpers in the canteen that set up on Thursday and volunteered all day Sunday. We just wouldn’t be able to race without your help.
The Championship Points are now up to view on the Club Championship Tab. See where you stand in the Championship after the opening round.
Remember the next Round of the North Shore Kart Club Championship Sunday April 26 but the next race meeting is The Brian Farley Memorial being held the weekend of the 28th & 29th March on Saturday & Sunday. We need plenty of helpers for this meeting so if you are able to help please contact the club to put your name down. Remember to be eligible for the North Shore Kart Club Championship you need to volunteer for a day helping the Club and it needs to be registered with someone from the Committee, then after that you get your bonus points for other days helped.
Stay tuned for more information on The Brian Farley Memorial, Supp Regs and Pre-entries to come.
