Round 7 Club Championships

The next NSKC race meeting will be round 7 of the club championships, Saturday 6th September.

For this meeting a number of the committee are away at other events and the club will need some assistance to run the event. Please email if you are able to help. Bonus ponts are on offer for anyone able to provide a full days assistance (lap scorer, weight marshall etc).

Classes to compete will be:
Midgets
Rookies
Junior National Light
Junior National Heavy
Junior Yamaha (if sufficient entries)
Senior National Light
Senior National Heavy
Senior National Over 40's
Clubman Light
Clubman Heavy
Clubman Superheavy
Rotax Light
Rotax Heavy
TAG Restricted (Medium weight, if sufficient entries)

We will be using the 1024 track. Entries will commence at 7am. Driver briefing at 8:00am and Carby sessions at 8:30am.

We will be running under the 2008 Club Championship rules as available on this site (link to the left). Those that wish to accumulate bonus points can provide a full day's assistance, please notify the club of your intention ASAP.

We are looking for 6 people to assist in the running of this meeting, bonus points are on offer for those that provide a full days assistance.

Reminder: If we need to run underlights a clear visor will be required, we hope this will not be the case.

Trophies are not to be taken until presented to the winners at presentations. This is a club policy,

Vests are for sale for $5 for those parents that with to go out on the track.

Assistance for this weekend

We will be needing the assistance of 6 people for this weekend in various positions, including lap scorers and weight marshall. This is an ideal opportunity to gain bonus points for yourself or your driver.

Rnd 6 Club Championships

A SET OF TYRES WILL BE GIVEN AWAY AT PRESENTATIONS FOR EVERY CLASS THAT HAS MORE THAN FIFTEEN COMPETITORS, DRAWN OUT OF THE HAT.

This is also a round of the 2008 NSW Leopard Series. So there is going to be heaps of outstanding racing.

Classes to compete will be:

Midgets
Rookies
Junior National Light
Junior National Heavy
Junior Yamaha (if sufficient entries)
Senior National Light
Senior National Heavy
Senior National Over 40's
Clubman Light
Clubman Heavy
Clubman Superheavy

ECK have advised that the track will be closed for practice from Monday 30th June and will reopen Thursday 3rd July inclusive.

Wow, what a meeting, almost 240 entries over the course of the day. Thanks to all the dedicated people that came out to help; including but by no means limited to, Russell Grimson and Peter Drain from CDKC and NKRC respectively.

The updated club championship results including the points score are now available or your viewing pleasure.

Round 4 Club Champs AND TAG Super Series

ATTENTION : ALL NORTH SHORE KART CLUB MEMBERS AND VISITORS.

The next round of the TaG Super Series is on at Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway.

DATE : 21/6/08

Due to the extra classes running with the TAG Super Series, NSKC has decided to split the next race meeting into two sessions.

SESSION ONE WILL BE :
MIDGETS
ROOKIES
JUNIOR NATIONAL HEAVY
JUNIOR NATIONAL LIGHT
SENIOR NATIONAL LIGHT
SENIOR NATIONAL HEAVY
SENIOR NATIONAL OVER 40'S

Entries for these classes close at 7.45am sharp as the carbie session will start at approximately 8.00am. We expect that this session will conculde around 1pm. A set of tyres for EACH class that has over 15 entires is on offer, so get your friends to come along!.

Presentation will be done for these classes after the morning session of racing is completed.

CLUBMAN LIGHT
CLUBMAN HEAVY
CLUBMAN SUPERHEAVY
TAG LIGHT
TAG HEAVY/SUPERHEAVY

Entries for these classes will close at 12.00 PM, there will be a change over period of approximately 30min. Those from the morning sessions will need to exit the pits ASAP after completion of their final. A set of tyres for EACH class that has over 15 entires is on offer, so get your friends to come along!.

Please do not arrive at the track to early if you are in the afternoon session, its you chance to sleep in and have breakfast at home or Porridge if your the Pie Man!

We anticipate finishing under lights so make sure you bring a clear visor.

It should be a great day of racing so come along and have some fun.
